THE MAKING OF A SUCCESS STORY

Not everyone will see potentials in you, so don’t be offended when people underestimate your ability. Just dust your feet and move on. It takes only the destiny helpers to see and identify your potentials. 

If you want to have a success story, you first have to identify your strength because your talent lies in your strength. We all have our unique abilities, so identify your own uniqueness,  unleash it and keep doing what you know how to do best regardless of the circumstances. 

The reality of life: You will get to a point when some people will tell you “you are just wasting your time”, as a matter of fact, some will even advise you to quit what you are doing. 

At this point, you also start to lose faith in your potentials, lose self-confidence and even lose your mind. Relax! It’s normal. when things are not going the way we expected, we tend to doubt our potentials because all we could only see is a dark thick cloud. 

Here’s the good news: Without the night, you won’t come to appreciate the beauty of the day. The night is part of the making of your success story. 

So what should you do? Be stubborn! Just hang on. soon you will look back and be grateful for those nights because the nights was your training ground.

YES IT IS GOOD, BUT NOT GOOD FOR YOU

Why did Jesus when he was on earth, charged people he healed not to tell any man, but when he died and rose again, we were charged to always testify of God’s healing/miracles we receive?

When Jesus was on earth, he always charges people he healed to see to it that nobody knows about their healing/deliverance because he wants to avoid distractions from his vision/purpose. His purpose was to come and die for our sins. He knows that the more people kept on praising him, the more it will come to the mind of people to make him a king.

Though, to be a king is good, but not good for him. If he should become the king, it will hinder his purpose from finding fulfilment. Nobody will put the king to death; nobody will give a verdict of hanging the king on the cross, except if the king wants to put himself to death by hanging which will be regarded as suicidal.

I believe you can see the reason why Jesus cannot be a King here on earth. He won’t be able to die for me and you. His purpose will be terminated. This is why Jesus charged the people not to tell of his works to others so that his purpose can be fulfilled, but because his works were so mighty that cannot be hidden; these went out to tell many other people of what Jesus has done in their lives. And the more/higher the human praise to Jesus, when he was on earth (regarded as a man), the more they seek/pleases to make him their king.

Do you know what Jesus did when he realized that being a king is good, but not good for him? Jesus ran away so that nobody will terminate his purpose here on earth. (ref: John 6:15). His purpose was to die for our sins. He puts away every distraction to his purpose and made sure he fulfilled his purpose. Today, Jesus is crowned an EVERLASTING KING.

LESSON: Know your purpose! Some things might look good to behold, but it might not be your purpose (Not good for you). Ask God to tell/show you your purpose. Perhaps you are currently doing something that you know it is not your purpose, Just run away like Jesus did. Nothing good in this world can be compared to the success that comes from fulfilling your purpose.

                                                                                                                                   

LEARN TO LIVE WITH YOURSELF

You wake up one beautiful morning,

Only to find yourself alone in this world.

You peeped through the windows,

Everywhere looks quiet, everywhere was so silent.

You asked yourself, where did they all go to?

Where are the cars on the main road?

Where are the people on the street?

Where are my family and loved ones?

Where are the birds in the sky?

Where has everyone gone to?

Can this truly be happening?

Am I the only one left in the world?

You pulled down the curtain of the window,

And went back to lie down on your bed.

You thought you were only dreaming.

You closed your eye for a while and opened it,

And you realized it wasn’t a dream.

You are left all alone in this world.

Nobody is there to hear you scream.

Nobody is there to see you cry.

What will you do, if you find yourself in such situation?

Will you wish to die?

Or will you be happy to enjoy the world alone?

Will you go to the kitchen and eat everything?

Or will you plan to starve yourself to death?

Will you execute the project you never had the courage to do?

Or will you end all your plans and say “it’s all over”?

Will you play music and dance to every rhythm,

Laugh till your stomach aches?

Or will you cry still your eyes get weary?

Will you? Will you be fine,

To find yourself alone in the world?

Will you be happy to live with yourself alone?

The first step to good life is to learn how to live with yourself.

Do you want to stay happy always?

Do you want to get along well with everyone?

Do you want to know what it means to be human?

Do you want to understand people’s choice, and respect their opinion?

To live with people in love and harmony; enjoying every bit of communication;

You must first learn how to live with yourself.

You have to know what it feels like to stay with you,

With all your weakness and strength.

With all your excess baggage.

You have to learn to extend friendship to your inner being,

Connecting your mind and soul.

Enjoy the peace within you.

Appreciate the silence within you.

You have to learn to live with yourself.

If you can live with yourself happily,

Only then will you be able to live with others in harmony

To learn how to live with yourself:

First, know yourself and love yourself.

Forget the past and forge ahead.

Accept your weakness and celebrate your strength.

Cleanse your mind from regrets.

Meditate with yourself alone.

Connect your mind with nature.

Stabilize your thoughts with inner peace.

And your life with shine bright like the morning star.

You will find it easy to accept others for who they are and live in harmony.

Don’t lose yourself in the crowd.

Don’t lose yourself in other’s opinion.

Don’t lose yourself in daily activities.

Always find time to spend with yourself alone; to live with yourself.

Only then can you grow, make progress and achieve your dream

Search for yourself in that room

Search for yourself in that office

Search for yourself on that street

Being alone does not mean loneliness.

Never be afraid to stand alone, it’s a sign of greatness

Embrace yourself and your self-confidence will flow like a mighty river.

BELIEF IN YOURSELF

I did not enjoy who I was,

Because I went about seeking approval from the society.

I wanted the people to acknowledge me.

I won’t do anything, no matter how much I wish to do it,

Except if the people show approval of my action.

My opinion didn’t matter much to me,

I just always think of:

What will people say?

How will people react?

Who will they think I am?

I lost myself,

Like a diamond lost in the ocean.

I lost my sense of reasoning,

Like a mule guided to follow every direction.

I lost my lifestyle,

Like a man lost in the wilderness.

I lost my uniqueness,

Like a salt mixed with sand.

I lost my confidence,

Like a cow prepared to be slaughtered.

Why did I care much about what people will say?

Why do I feel rejected and empty when I am disregarded by people?

I stop everything I do whenever I am criticized.

Something in me tells me I don’t need approval from people,

But I am not strong enough to stand alone.

I am not determined enough to do what I believe in,

Even when the world is against it.

I did everything to please people,

Yet I get rejected over and over again.

I told myself, I can’t go on living like this.

I know I need to believe in myself.

I know it is right to trust myself.

I made up my mind never to walk in anyone's shadow.

I will always be responsible for my actions.

It doesn't matter if I fail or win.

One thing is for sure; I am redefining myself.

I am learning to know myself.

To accept my weakness and embrace my strength.

I learn from my experience; it helps me build my confidence.

I cherish my uniqueness and I unleash my potentials.

I enjoy who I am now,

And I am excited about who I have become.

I don’t worry about what people will say anymore.

I simply live my life as I believe.

I believe in myself; I shun every negativity.

Every form of criticism directed at me,

Leaves me with the burning desire to achieve my dream .

I dare to stand alone because I believe in myself.

I hold my head up high,

Because I am proud of who I am.

How can you believe in yourself?

You cannot believe in yourself if you don’t know your ability.

You have to know your strength and your weakness.

Close your eyes and think that you are the only one in the world.

Think that there is nobody to talk to,

So all you have to do is to depend on yourself and the decision you take.

Picture yourself at the centre of it all,

And you will find reasons to believe in your dream.

To believe in your ability.

To believe in yourself.

Always remember this:

It is your dream, not our dream.

It is your vision, not our vision.

It is your life, not our life.

It is all yours, so you have to stand up.

Take responsibility for everything that is yours.

Embrace your strength and accept your weakness.

Believing in yourself start with accepting your personality.

Enjoying every bit of your uniqueness,

And learning from every bit of your mistake.

Only you can take the final decision because it is all yours to take.

Start to believe in yourself.

Nobody has the right to think for you.

You have to do the thinking yourself.

It doesn’t matter what people think about you.

What they think about your decision,

And how they perceive your opinion.

What matters is that it is yours.

All yours! You will find confidence and fulfillment in what is yours.

Because there is a beauty that lies in originality.

Whatever is yours is original and creative in nature.

Their opinion is not what that matters.

But your opinion, your decision, is all that matters.

People are not static,

Their opinion is never constant.

Their thought is based on the current situation.

Why base your life on people’s opinion that changes like chameleon?

Nobody will achieve your dream on your behalf.
